Eunice I. DeWitt, age 95, former Concordia resident entered into rest on May 8, 2015 at the Golden Living Center Covington Heights Nursing Home in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born on February 27, 1920 in Humbolt, South Dakota to John C. and Katherine A. (Reichelt) Martin.

On May 28, 1942 she married Claud L. DeWitt in Belleville, Kansas. He died April 3, 1983.

Eunice was a homemaker. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Martin LaSage Aux. Post 588 and American Legion Aux. Davies-Crook Unit 76 all of Concordia.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claud, parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 with family receiving friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia with Jerry Meyer Officiating.
