Evelyn Elaine Parsons Tholstrup was born September 2, 1928 to Earl and Kathryn Morgan Parsons.  She passed away from this life on April 29, 2008 at the Cloud County Health Center at the age of 79. She attended school in Bostwick, NE and Jamestown, KS. She married Dale Tholstrup on June 19, 1945 in Belleville, KS. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1997. She owned and operated Kuts, Klips, and Kurls for 40 years. She was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, her family and friends.  She is survived by: S on Leroy Tholstrup & wife Joyce, Concordia, KS; Daughter: Betty Roberts & hus Randy, Macon, MO; Sisters: Ruby Conn, Concordia, KS; Donna LeFort, Salina, KS; Sandra Pae & hus Fred, Grandbury, TX; Mary Newton & hus Rex, Springdale, AR; Brothers: Raymond Parsons & wife Arlee Mae, Persia, IA; Gary Parsons & wife Jacqueline, Archer City, TX; Delbert Parsons & wife Sandy, Bartlett, IL; Grandchild: Jeffrey Tholstrup & wife Crystal, Concordia, KS; Grandchild: Jennifer Kuckelman & hus Daniel, Berryton, KS; Grandchild: Jason Tholstrup, Overland Park, KS; Grandchild: Dionne Dillon & hus Doug, Pleasant Valley, MO; Grandchild: Craig Roberts, Blue Springs, MO; and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband- Dale, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and her parents.  Funeral services will be at 10:00AM Friday, May, 2, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Pastor Kirk Parsons officiating.  Visitation will be from 9 AM to 9 PM Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS.  The family suggests memorials to American Legion Children and Youth Program or American Diabetes Association.
