Everett S. West, age 55, died Mon, March 24, 2014 at Via Christi-St. Francis, Wichita. He was born on Feb. 18, 1959 in Kokomo, IN to Raymond & Sally (Jackson) West.

He graduated from Manhattan High School. He worked as a painter for a metal fabricator in Kokomo, IN until he moved to Concordia, 2 years ago. He was affectionately known as uncle 'E' to his family.

He is survived by his mother, Sally West, Concordia; sisters, Annie Desmarais & hus. David, Clay Center, Marie White & hus. Jim, Concordia & Christine Hartley & hus. Donald, Delphos; brothers, Michael West & Carl West, Concordia, Jeff West & wife Leslie, Fisher, IN, Robert Jordan & wife Patty, Kokomo, IN & Ray Nash, Clay Center; fiancé, Jane Poley, Concordia; children, Matt & Jenny West; 3 grandchildren & several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father & brothers, David West, Jerry Jordan & Nelson Johnson.

The family selected cremation and private family services will be held. The family suggests memorials to the Everett West Memorial in care of the funeral home.
