Frances Olsen Yeargin, 73, formerly of Jamestown, passed away previously in Charlotte, NC. She was born in Jamestown on June 4, 1937, daughter of the late Ole P. and Ella C. Funk Olsen. Mrs. Yeargin was a retired federal government employee. She was a musician, had a great love for music and the choir and was a pianist for the Stephenson Presbyterian Church in Monroe, NC.
Mrs. Yeargin is survived by her husband James E. Yeargin of Monroe, NC, daughter Kelly Diane Cullop and husband Jerry of Sterling, son Kevin James Yeargin of Charlotte, NC, daughter Kristi Lynne Zukovich and husband John of Andover, brother Earldeen Olsen and wife Bonnie of Clifton, brother-in-law Bob Teasley of Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren Janna Splitter and husband Matt, Jacey Cullop, Nathan Zukovich, Jared Cullop and Brandon Zukovich. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Teasley and sister-in-law, Bertha Olsen.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 17th, 2011 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, rural Jamestown, with Rev. Denise Group officiating. Inurnment will be in the St. Luke's Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Jamestown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Luke's Lutheran Church in care of Chaput–Buoy Funeral Home, Box 606, Concordia, KS 66901. Following the service, the Yeargin family invites you to visit with them and one another at the Jamestown Community Center on Spruce Street. Refreshments will be served.
