Frederick David Hake was born on January 2, 1967 to Carol Noyes and Fred Hake in Concordia, Kansas. He passed from this life on Saturday, July 4, 2008 in Concordia, Kansas at the age of 41. To family and friends, he was known as Freddy. Freddy was a lifelong resident of Concordia and graduated from Concordia High School in 1985. After high school, he worked several years as a mechanic. Following his years as a mechanic, he worked at Gerard Tank and Steel operating the burn table. He recently began working at Alsop Sand. Freddy enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Samantha Mae Hake, family and friends. Freddy is survived by his daughter, Samantha Mae Hake, Concordia, KS; his mother, Carol Noyes, Concordia, KS; brothers, Michael Hake and wife Brandi, Aaron Hake and wife Stephanie, John Hake and Jake Hake and significant other Amber Clapp all of Concordia, KS. Freddy is also survived by four nephews, Brentin, Drake, Eastan and Stryker, and one niece, Brianna. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Hake; paternal grandparents, Henry and Mae Hake and maternal grandparents, Warren and Peggy Noyes. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Wed., July 9, 2008 at The Wesleyan Church, Concordia, KS with Rev. David J. Redmond officiating. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 9 PM Tues., July 8, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Samantha Hake Education Fund.
