Frederick C. Mildrexler was born on Sept. 30, 1924 in Cawker City, KS to Frederick and Laura Surset Mildrexler. He passed from this life on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS at the age of 83. He graduated from Beloit High School. He graduated from Nursing School in Concordia, KS and then graduated from Nurse Anesthetist School in Chicago, IL. He served as a hospital administrator in Skyler and Crete, NE for over 10 years and then moved to Omaha, NE where he worked for 30 years as a nurse anesthetist at Methodist Hospital where he was requested on a regular basis for heart surgeries and other procedures. He is survived by a son, Harold Mildrexler, Clyde, KS; daughters, Sammy McLauchlin, Independence, MO and Charline Louise, Lake Montezuma, AZ; brother, Johnny Mildrexler; sister Annie Young; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 23, 2008 at Chaput Mortuary in Clyde, KS. The family chose cremation and there will be no visitation. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Clyde, KS. The family suggests memorials to the family's choice.
