George "Willie" Brown, age 77, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia.  He was born on Aug. 3, 1941 in Concordia, Kansas to Elden M. & Margaret E. (LaPlant) Brown.

Willie graduated from Concordia High School in 1959.  He married Sharon Lapo on Nov. 10, 1961 in Concordia, Kansas.

He worked in the parts department for Big A Auto and Martin Tractor in Concordia.  He and Sharon later moved to Florida, where he worked for Kelly Tractor until his retirement in 2001.

Willie enjoyed building model boats and collecting firearms.

Willie is survived by his wife, Sharon, Concordia; son, Stephan Brown, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; granddaughter, Bianca Brown, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brother, Jeri Brown (Harriett), Concordia and a sister, Shirley Campbell, Manhattan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
