George F. "Dale" Derusseau, 89 years of age, of Clyde , Kansas passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at Cloud County Health Center in Concordia. He was born on July 7, 1921 in Clyde to George and Agnes (Hamel) Derusseau. Dale was a station attendant at the Coop in Clyde for several years while also farming part time on the farm he took over when his father passed away.

Dale is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Michael Derusseau and wife Cindy, Douglas Derusseau, Kenneth Derusseau, all of Clyde ; grandsons, Seth and Zane Derusseau; granddaughter, Adrienne Sorell and husband Brad; great granddaughter, Elisa Sorell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters, Edmae Fojt and Edna Michaud.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, March 11, 2011 in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyde with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Clyde . Visitation will be from 1 – 8 PM Thursday, March 10, 2011 in the Chaput Mortuary in Clyde with family greeting friends from 6 – 7 PM. A memorial has been established to the Clyde Ambulance Fund with the funeral home in charge.
