Glen Frank Townsdin was born September 4, 1917 in Ames to James and Addie Fuller Townsdin. He passed away from this life on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS at the age of 89. He attended school in the Ames area. He married Marguerite Krohn on October 22, 1944 in Concordia, KS. He was a lifetime area resident and farmer. He was active with 4-H pigs and was a cattleman. He was a former member of the Moose #1428. Survivors include: Wife: Marguerite Townsdin, Jamestown, KS, Daughter: Illene Hess and Friend Ron, Topeka, KS; Daughter: Sandy Miller & hus Gerald, Glasco, KS; Daughter: Shirley Riek & hus Loren, Clay Center, KS; Daughter: Patsy Jackson & hus Bob, Blue Rapids, KS; Daughter: Carol Bisnette, Concordia, KS; 17 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Great Great Grandchild: to be born. He was preceded in death by: Parents, Son- James Townsdin in 1997, daughter- Jeanette Townsdin in 1960, great grandson Brecken Townsdin in 2001, sister- Laura Ricketts, and 2 infant sisters, and 1 infant brother. Services will be at 1:00PM Thursday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Judy Hill officating. Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM Wednesday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rural Concordia, KS. Memorials can be made in Glen's to the Donor's Choice.
