Gloria A. Willoughby, age 84, died Thurs., May 29, 2014 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia. She was born on April 2, 1930 in Rural Clyde, KS to Albert & Edmae (Derusseau) LeBlanc.
Gloria grew up in the Clyde & St. Joe area. She married Archie Willoughby on June 4, 1950 in St. Joseph, KS. He preceded her on June 1, 1989. She was a homemaker and later worked at Dinah's Noodles in Clyde. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary and & former member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge #1428.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Bieker (Dale), Benton, AR & Vicki Hill (Kelly), Eagle River, AK; sons, Randy Willoughby (Linda), Minneapolis & Troy Willoughby, Concordia & 13 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie; her parents; brothers, Merlyn, Larry & Don & sister, Betty Kouba.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am, Wed., June 4, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Clyde. Visitation will be from 10 am to 9 pm with Vigil services at 6:00 pm, Tues, June 3, all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to The Guardians of the St. Joseph Church in care of the funeral home.
