Gwendolyn "Betsy" Baumann, age 66, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Cloud County Health Center. She was born October 1, 1940 in Far Rockaway, NY to Raymond and Elizabeth Murphy Hancock.  She attended Oceanside High School in Oceanside, New York.  She married Robert E. Baumann on June 10, 1961 in Woodmere, Long Island, NY.  She was the activities director for Cloud County Health Center and an antiques dealer.  She was a member of the American Legion Associate Member, Moose Lodge #1428. She collected antiques, she enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, horseback riding, cooking, playing bingo, watching Jeopardy, feeding birds and squirrels, but most of all spoiling her grandchildren.  She is survived by her husband Robert, of the home; sons- Michael Baumann, and Scott Baumann & wife Denise; daughter- Dawn Baumann-Payeur & hus Chad; Grandchildren: Amanda & Carlee Baumann; Blane, Jaden, Blaze, and Deklyn Payeur, all of Concordia, Kansas; brother Raymond Hancock, Long Island, NY; sisters: Barbara Emblem, Oceanside, CA; and Susan Brady, Oceanside, NY.  She was prededed in death by her parents.  Services will be at 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 9 AM to 9 PM, Tuesday, September 11, 2007 with family receiving friends from 7 PM to 8:30 PM.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  The body was cremated.  Memorials have been designated to the Betsy Baumann Memorial Fund.
