Harold J. Lambert, age 69, entered into rest on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Cloud County Health Center in Concordia, Kansas. He was born in Concordia, Kansas on November 14, 1947 to Francis and Mary (L'Ecuyer) Lambert.
Harold was a 1965 graduate of Clyde High School.
Harold served in the United States Marine Corps.
Harold married Madeline Tate on August 8, 1969 in St. Joseph, Kansas at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, VFW Post #7515, Clifton American Legion Post #27.
Harold was a lifetime farmer and rancher in the Clyde community, retiring in September of 2015. Harold enjoyed helping his neighbors, woodworking and most of all spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Mary, step-father, Norman LeDuc.
He is survived by his wife Madeline of the home in Clyde, two daughters, Lana Schaaf (Randy), Linn, KS.; Kristi Riney (Scott), Louisville, KY.; 3 grandchildren, Rylan Schaaf, Aleksandr and Lauren Riney, Brother, Pat Lambert (Joyce), Clyde, KS.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 6:00 p.m. all at Chaput Mortuary, Clyde. Family will receive friends after the Rosary Service.
Mass of a Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 6, 2017 at St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clyde, with Fr. Steven Heina officiating.
Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post #7515 of Clyde.
