Ilene J. Mosher was born on Feb. 1, 1927 in rural Aurora, KS to Steven & Susie Ruth (Kindel) LeDuc. She died on Tues., Nov. 29, 2011 at Medicalodge of Clay Center at the age of 84. Ilene graduated from Miltonvale High School. She married William "Billy" Mosher on June 18, 1949 in Hollis, KS. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1995. Ilene was a homemaker and later an aid at St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia and assisted with setting up Lifelines with home healthcare. Ilene was a member of The Wesleyan Church, Concordia where she was a Sunday School Teacher, volunteer and involved with several different church activities. Ilene was an avid card player and enjoyed playing a host of card games. She is survived by her daughters: Susie Pfizenmaier & husband Fred, Clyde, KS & Evelyn Benson, Concordia, KS; sons: David Mosher & wife Marquita, Lilongwe, Malawi, Africa, Joe Mosher & wife Jo Ella, Salina, KS & Lonnie Mosher & wife Joy, Liberty, SC; brother: LeRoy LeDuc & wife Margaret, Clyde, KS; sister: Betty Guinn, Concordia, KS; sisters in law: Gloria LeDuc, Concordia, KS, Mary LeDuc, Clyde, KS & Linda LeDuc, Hamilton, TX; 17 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents & brothers, Dale, Raymond, Norman & Donald. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Mon, Dec. 5, 2011 at The Wesleyan Church, Concordia with Rev. David Redmond officiating. Visitation will be from 12 PM to 8 PM with the family will greet friends from 6-7 PM on Sun, Dec. 4, 2011 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at Hollis Cemetery, Hollis, KS. The family suggests memorials to The Wesleyan Church.
