Imogene L. Trost was born on Aug. 10, 1929 in Huscher, KS to William & Viola (Vignery) Snavely. She passed from this life on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Cloud County Health Center at the age of 81. Imogene grew up in the Huscher area and graduated from Concordia High School. She married Robert C. Trost on May 10, 1950 in Huscher, KS and he preceded her on May 26, 1986. Imogene was a CNA & Med-Aid at the Concordia Rest Home, Concordia until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the Huscher United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters: Cindy Trost, Concordia, KS & Bonnie Trost, Concordia, KS; son: Larry Trost & wife Fran, Concordia, KS; brother: Armand Snavely & Jane, Concordia, KS; grandchildren: Erin Herman & husband Aaron, Concordia, KS, Adam Trost & wife Kelsey, Concordia, KS, Nathan & Michael Trost, Concordia, KS; great grandchildren: Emma & Abby Herman, Concordia, KS, Justus & Kyla Trost, Concordia, KS & sisters in law: Vivian Snavely, Concordia, KS & Lois Duewell & husband Dolan, Concordia, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Mickey; parents & brother LeRoy Snavely. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tues., Jan. 11, 2011 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Pastor L. Dean Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 9 PM with the family greeting friends from 7-8 PM, Mon, Jan. 10, 2011 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at Nelson Center Cemetery, Huscher, KS. The family suggests memorials to the Huscher United Methodist in care of the funeral home.
