Obituary

Jacquellyn "Jackie" Nault, 64 years of age, of Concordia, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Mount Joseph Senior Village in Concordia. She was born on June 14, 1950 in Odell, Nebraska to Joe and Berdine (Conzelman) Payne. Jackie graduated from Fairbury High School in Fairbury, Nebraska in 1969. She married Daniel Nault on December 17, 1969 in Steele City, Nebraska. They later divorced. Jackie was a dietary aide at Mount Joseph Senior Village. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Concordia where she helped with Bingo. Jackie loved fishing, karaoke, hanging out and talking with friends, riding her motorized scooter downtown and especially, spending time with her grandkids.
Jackie is survived by 2 daughters, Brenda Wilson and husband Brian of Clyde, Lisa Aytes and husband James of Concordia; son, Richard Nault and wife Pam of Concordia; 10 grandchildren, Brandon Wilson and wife Cassandra, Jordon and Chantel Wilson, Alice and Melanie Aytes, Tatiana, Jamison, Daysha, Aleah, and Aryena Nault; mother, Berdine Payne of Steele City, Nebraska; sister, Betty Novotny and husband Butch of Endicott, Nebraska; aunt, Shirley Davenport of Elm Creek, Nebraska; one niece, nephew, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Melanie Ann Payne; and special friend, Chester Dick.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia with Pastor Jeff Nielsen officiating. Inurnment will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Steele City Cemetery in Steele City, Nebraska. There will be no viewing but a register book will be available from 9 AM to 5 PM Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials are suggested to the American Legion Post #76 Auxiliary or Mount Joseph Senior Village in care of the funeral home. Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia is in charge of arrangements.
