James "Buster"
Ninemire
Jun 29, 1974 — Sep 1, 2026
Thursday
Pleasant Hill Cemetery
2:00 - 3:00 pm (Central time)
James “Buster” Ninemire passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy as loud, vibrant, and unforgettable as the music he loved. Born on June 29, 1974, Buster was raised with endless love by his parents, Leo and Mary Lou Ninemire.
To know Buster was to love him. He was fiercely friendly, always willing to lend a helping hand, and never shy about sharing his opinion- especially after a few drinks. Music was his true first love, and rock and roll and heavy metal served as the soundtrack to his entire life. If Buster thought your taste in music was terrible, he made sure to tell you loudly, proudly and repeatedly.
Beyond the music, Buster was a man of unmistakable passions. He lived life on his own terms, loved the company of a woman with real curves, and never apologized for liking what he liked.
Above everything else in his life, nothing meant more to Buster than his family. His absolute proudest achievements and the true centers of his world were his two children Burgandy and Kurtis.
Buster was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Ninemire; his biological parents, Dee Zinn and Marion Ninemire; and his brothers Rick Ramsey and Dick Ramsey.
He is survived by his father Leo Ninemire (KS); his son, Kurtis Ninemire (KS); his daughter Burgandy Ninemire (KS); his sister Jennifer Ninemire (CA); his brothers, Rickey Ninemire (KS); Bill Ramsey (KS), Allen Sexton (TX), Jeff Martin (KS), and Jon Martin (KS); as well as his grandchildren and dozens of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss his volume, his laughter, and his big heart.
Friends and family are invited to attend a remembrance service for Buster on Thursday, September 17th, at 2:00pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, where we will gather to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
