Janet Kay Meredith, age 76, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Mt. Joseph Senior Village, Concordia, KS.  She was born on October 13, 1944, in Cass City, Michigan to Delbert and Cherry (Nelson) Esckelson.

Janet was a 1962 graduate of Oxford High School in Oxford, Michigan.

She married William "Bill" Meredith on January 29, 1965 in Indiana.  They moved to Concordia, KS in 1982.

Janet was a homemaker.

Janet and Bill were missionaries in Turkey, Turkmenistan, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan.

Janet served on the International Mission Board.

She is survived by, daughters, Kim Mills (Travis), Ames & Tina McManus (Rob), Concordia; son, Michael Meredith (Shari), Hays; foster daughter, Youlanda Willingham; 11 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren; sister, Faith Espinoza, CA.; brother, Richard Esckelson (Raquel), Puerto Rico; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, parents, Delbert and Cherry, 2 brothers, David and Lonnie Esckelson.
