Jason Ray Kearn was born November 5, 1982 in Concordia, Kansas to Ralph and Phyllis Vignery Kearn. He passed away on May 11, 2007. He graduated from Concordia High School. He worked for DAK Plastics in Minneapolis, KS. He was a member and cook at the Moose Lodge Post #1428 of Concordia. He is survived by his parents, Ralph and Phyllis Kearn of Concordia, KS; sister Amanda Kearn and Husband Bill McDaniel of Concordia, KS; brothers James Kearn and wife Angie of San Antonio, Texas, and Phillip Kearn and wife Jill of Concordia, KS, grandmother Neva Herpick of Anchorage, AK, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Hazel Kearn, grandfather Byron Vignery and an infant brother Darrell Ray Kearn. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS, with the Rev. Dean R. Frazier, officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM Tuesday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 5PM to 9PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials may be made to Moose Lodge Post #1428 or to Concordia After School Program in memory of Jason.
