Obituary
Jean D. Benge, age 93, entered into rest on January 25, 2016 in Topeka, Kansas. She was born August 12, 1922 in Clyde, Kansas to Archibold and Eva (Caron) Boling.
Jean married Harlan B. "Tuffy" Benge on June 30, 1940 in Fairbury, N.C. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1993. Jean was a homemaker. She spent most of her life in Clyde. She attended the Clyde Christian Church. Jean and Harlan moved to Topeka in 1982.
She is survived by her son Jack Benge, Topeka, Kansas; one grandson, Harlan Bryan Benge, Topeka, Kansas.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Jap, Louis, Jake, Arch and Bud Boling; two sisters, Betty Swihart and Gloria Tegethoff .
Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Clyde, with Rev. Jeff Nielsen officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Clyde Christian Church c/o Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.
