Jeff R. Callihan was born on July 16, 1963 in Beloit, KS to James Callihan & Carole Odette. He passed from this life on Monday, March 30, 2009 at Clay County Hospital in Clay Center, KS at the age of 45. Jeff graduated from Clifton-Clyde High School. He was an area farmer until he became disabled. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde. Jeff enjoyed hunting. He is survived by his mother, Carole Lagasse & husband Lowell, Clyde, KS; father, James Callihan & wife Pat, Tarlton, OH; daughters, Alicia Callihan, Concordia, KS, Maycee Callihan, Clyde, KS & Mallory Callihan, Clyde, KS; son, Brandon Callihan, Concordia, KS; brother, Craig Callihan, Clyde, KS & his grandmother, Fern Odette, Clyde, KS. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Francis Odette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, April 3, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, KS with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 8 PM with the family receiving friends from 7-8 PM on Thurs., April 2, 2009 at Chaput Mortuary, Clyde. Burial will follow the services at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Clyde, KS. The family suggests memorials to the Clyde Ambulance Fund or Education Fund for Maycee & Mallory.
