Jerry Jo Fisher, age 59, of KC, MO and formerly of Concordia, entered into rest on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.  He was born on August 1, 1962 in Concordia, Kansas to Jack and Olivine (Gagnon) Fisher, Sr..

Jerry was a 1980 graduate of Concordia High School.   Jerry then graduated from Beloit AVTS in their IT Department.  He later received his Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.

Jerry married Machelle Nordquist in Concordia, Kansas.  They later divorced.  To this Union two children were born Jenae and Jerod.

He worked for Archie's Grocery and later at Duis Meat Packing in Concordia, Kansas.  Jerry was currently employed with Cerner in KC, MO as a QA Analyst.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post #76, Concordia, Kansas.

Jerry enjoyed bowling and riding his motorcycle, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his, daughter, Jenae Staley (Matt), Shawnee, KS; son, Jerod Fisher, KC, MO;  a brother, Jack Fisher, Jr. (Becky), Topeka, KS; sister, Jennie DeWitt, Concordia, KS; 6 grandchildren, Kyler, Kallea, Korbin, Karson, Hudson, Harper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Olivine.

Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m, Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas, with Pastor Bob Burns officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
