Joan Lucille Palmer, age 91, of Concordia, KS, left this earthly life on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community, Manhattan, KS. She was born on December 9, 1934, in Saux County, WI to George L. & Audra O. (Warner) Nofsinger.

It was Joan’s wishes to be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Concordia Wesleyan Church, Concordia, KS with Pastor David Redmond officiating. The family will greet friends following the memorial services at the church. Burial will be at a later date in the Benton County Memorial Gardens, Rogers, AR. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Global Partners of the Concordia Wesleyan Church or Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community in care of the funeral home.
