JoAnn A. Krager, age 74, died Fri., Oct. 24, 2014 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia. She was born on July 15, 1940 in Miltonvale, KS to John W. & Hazel (Forney) Balderston.

JoAnn graduated from Miltonvale High School. She married Jack Krager on June 15, 1967 in Concordia. When her children were young, she was a homemaker and later went to work for TG&Y as the office manager and then a sales clerk for Sarah Ann's Hallmark until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Past President of VFW Auxiliary #588 and the Christian Women's Fellowship. JoAnn always enjoyed her time with her husband and family.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; daughter, Toni Born (Don), Salina; sons, Jack Krager, Jr. (Nikke), Concordia & Jim Krager (Kimberly), Little Rock, AR; son in law, Dave Walker, Concordia; brother, John L. Balderston (Mary), Beaver, KS; 9 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Tanis Stufflebeam & Tena Walker; sister, LaDonna Rundle & brother, Larry Balderston.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am, Mon, Oct. 27, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Concordia with Rev. Joe Koechner officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-8 pm with family greeting friends from 4-6 pm Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Assoc. in care of the funeral home.
