Joe T. McGeoch, age 91, passed away on Wed., September 8, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS.  He was born on Nov. 24, 1929 in Aurora, KS to Oscar B. & Helen S. (Eaves).

Joe grew up in Cloud County and was a lifetime area resident, farmer and cattleman.  He began working on the farm at age 9 because his father had typhoid fever when he was younger.  He served on the Aurora Co-Op elevator Board of Directors for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, Concordia; several nieces; nephews and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carl (Della) McGeoch & sister, Irene Roark.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 13, 2021 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.  Burial will follow at the Courtland Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 1-8 pm at the funeral home.  The family suggests memorials to the Kidney Foundation in care of the funeral home.  For online condolences, please visit www.chaputbuoy.com.
