John P. Alexander was born on Oct. 7, 1954 in Kansas City, KS to Isadore & Eva (Charbonneau) Alexander. He passed from this life on Wed., June 2, 2010 at his residence in Concordia, KS at the age of 55. John graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master''s degree in civil engineering. He is survived by his daughter: Sarah Alexander, Atlanta, GA; son: Matthew Alexander, Boston, MA; mother: Eva Alexander, Concordia, KS; brothers: Mike Alexander & wife Nancy, Raymore, MO & Tom Alexander & wife Debby, Salina, KS &sisters: Carol DeLue & husband Jim, St. Louis, MO & Nancy Leicht & husband Tom, Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his father & a brother, Dennis. Memorial services will be held at 10 AM, Wed., June 9, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Burial of the cremains will follow the services at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, KS. There will be no visitation, the body was cremated. The family suggests memorials to the John P. Alexander Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
