since 2003. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Moose Lodge #1428.
Joseph is survived by a sister, Stella Wessel and husband Leander of Effingham; a brother, Vincent Peltier and wife Johanna of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and 7 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Peltier.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 21, 2011 in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary's

. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 PM Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia. A rosary will be recited at 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home with family greeting friends following the rosary until 7 PM. A memorial has been established to
