Joyce Dockins, age 80, entered into rest on March 13, 2020 at the Ottawa County Hospital, Minneapolis, Kansas.  She was born on July 20, 1939 in Clyde, Kansas to Waldon and Gladys (Raff) Huggerth.

She was a 1957 graduate of Clyde High School.

On August 13, 1959 she married Kenneth G. Dockins at the Christian Church in Clyde.

Joyce worked for 14 years as a Library Aid at USD 224 Clifton-Clyde School District. She also worked 14 years at the Ideal Market, Clyde, Kansas.

Joyce loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She was a member of the Christian Church, Clyde.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Greg Dockins (Cindi), Gerald Dockins, of Clyde; granddaughter, Trisity Gurney (Christopher) and their children Taylor, Braxtin, Ezra, Isaac and Maizy, Clay Center; Granddaughter, Nicole Hamel, (Fiancé Codi), and their children Keegan & Kynlee; Step-grandsons, Josh Gilmore (Adam), Dan (Tori) Gilmore and their children Mia, Alex, Bonnie, Izahic, and Adam Gilmore and sons Braden and Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny "Doc", parents, Waldon and Gladys, grandson, Jason Dockins, 3 sisters, Juanita Huncovsky, JoAnn Fregon, Barbara Arpin and their dog "Buddy".

Cremation has taken place and Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2020 at the Christian Church, Clyde, with Rev. Michael Ostermann officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Clyde.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the Chaput Mortuary in Clyde.  Memorial Contributions may be given to Clyde Library, Meadowlark Hospice or Morrison House, c/o Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.  For online condolences may be sent to www.chaputbuoy.com
