Juanita G. Christensen was born on May 17, 1910 in Graham County, KS to Arthur & Myrtle (Moyer) Rowley.  She passed from this life on Wed., Feb. 9, 2011 at The Nicol Home, Glasco, KS at the age of 100. Juanita married Harvey E. Christensen on March 1, 1932 in Concordia, KS.  He preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 1999.  Juanita worked as a telephone operator until her children were born and she was a homemaker.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Concordia and Kansas Farm Bureau.  She is survived by her two sons, Eugene Christensen & wife Betty, Glasco, KS & Bill Christensen & wife Delores, Pinedale, WY; 4 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.  Memorial services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Pastor L. Dean Thompson officiating.  Friends may sign the register book from 8 AM to 5 PM, Friday at the funeral home.  Family burial of the cremains will be at the Danish Lutheran Cemetery, Jamestown, KS.  The family suggests memorials to The Nicol Home, Glasco, KS in care of the funeral home.
