Juanita M. Hruza, age 84, died Thurs., Nov. 13, 2014 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia. She was born on Dec. 8, 1929 in Washington Co., Kansas to Leslie & Mary Inez (McGregor) Stanton

Juanita grew up in Washington Co. as a child and graduated from Clifton High School in 1948. She and her family moved to Concordia later in 1948. She married Leonard F. Hruza on Dec. 30, 1950 in Concordia. He preceded her on Aug. 13, 2009. She was a homemaker. Juanita was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, VFW #588 Auxiliary, Elks & Moose Clubs and a former member of the Improvement Club. Juanita enjoyed spending time with her friends and sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Marlin Hruza (Marietta), Emporia & Rodney Hruza (Rebecca), Saint Hedwig, TX; twin sister, Anita Chartier, Concordia & younger sister, Sondra Mockabee (Eugene) Campton, NH; 2 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild & 1 great grandchild & 4 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; her parents.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Tues., Nov. 18, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church, Concordia with Pastor Tessa Zehring officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. Visitation will be from 9 am to 9 pm with family greeting friends from 6-7 pm, Mon. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church or American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
