Judith A. Nobert, age 72, died Wed., Aug. 20, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society of Minneapolis, KS. She was born on July 27, 1942 in Belleville, KS to Charles & Celia (Bartak) Chermak.

She graduated from Munden High School. She married Orville Nobert on Feb. 25, 1963 in Munden, KS and he preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1987. Judy was a nurse's aid at Mt. Joseph Senior Community. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Silsby & hus. Robert, Cawker City; brother, Harry Chermak & wife Shirley, Belleville; sister in law, Esther Chermak, Beatrice, NE; grandchildren, Miranda Housh & husband Alan, Glen Elder, Leandra Silsby & Quintin Silsby, Cawker City; great granddaughter, Leah Marie Housh, Glen Elder & several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville; daughter, Linda; her parents; brother, Charles Chermak & sister, Louise Splichal.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, Aug. 22 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia. Visitation will be from 10 am to 5 pm, Thursday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Sisters of St. Joseph or Masses in care of the funeral home.
