Obituary
Julie Marie (Brunell) Simons, age 45, Clifton resident, went to be with her heavenly father, on November 20, 2016 at the Clay Center Medical Center. She was born on February 13, 1971 in Belleville, KS to Eugene and Connie (Cox) Brunell.
She graduated from Clifton-Clyde High School in 1989. On September 16, 2004, she married the love of her life, Michael Simons in Concordia. He preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 2015. She had been employed at Wal-Mart and most recently at Scott Specialties, both in Concordia.
Survivors include her parents, Eugene and Connie Brunell, Clifton; a brother, Ed Brunell (Carolyn), Tolleson, AZ; a sister, Cindy Brunell (Derek), Laveen, AZ; maternal grandparents, Francis & Doreen Cox, Clifton; mother in law, Glennis Fosdick (Darrell), Clyde; brothers in law, David Simons (Heidi), Meriden & William Simons, Clyde; sister-in-law, Sabrina May, Agenda; aunts, uncles, cousins & several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike and grandparents.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Vining Cemetery, Vining, KS with Pastor Douglas R. Brunell officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Julie Simons memorial fund in care of Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.
