Obituary
June E. Holmes, age 80, of Concordia, passed away on Monday May 21, 2018 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia. She was born on September 28, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri to Courtney and Lucille Moles.
She was a 1955 graduate of Chanute High School, Chanute, Kansas.
June married James Osborn and he preceded her in death. She later married Fred Holmes on July 20, 1975 in Miami, Oklahoma and they would of celebrated 44 years of marriage this July.
June owned and operated her own Art Shop where she was an Art Teacher for many years and was also an Interior Designer. She also was a homemaker.
June loved KU Basketball, gardening, cooking and most of all she loved her children, family and especially her 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Fred of Concordia; a daughter, Jamie Osborn, Lawrence, KS.; 3 sons, Jeff Osborn (Temi), Corpus Christi, TX.; Derek Holmes (Tracey), Concordia, KS.; Drew Holmes (Amy), Wichita, KS.; a brother, Courtney Moles (Linda), 4 sisters, Christy Van Nice (John), April Moles, Martha Maddox (Kent), Janet Hofer (Red). Concordia, and 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband James Osborn, parents, infant son, Dirk Wehlri Holmes.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
