Kale D. Sterling, age 65, entered into rest on April 8, 2015 at the Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, Kansas. He was born April 7, 1950 in Concordia, KS to Harry Dean and Rosa Lutrede (Rieke) Sterling.

Kale graduated from Concordia High School in 1968. He married Susan G. Pfister on Nov. 27, 1989 in Reno, NV. He was an independent truck driver most of his life. He attended the Wesleyan Church. Kale enjoyed watching Nascar & football, but mostly loved spending time with his loving grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Susan & son, Ethan of the home; children, Michelle Foley (Steve), Beattie; Nicole Sutherlin (Steve), K.C., MO; Tony Dong & fiancé Holly, Salina; Jonathan Dong, Salina; Christopher Dong (Rachel), Topeka; Richard James, Salina; Wesley James (Alicia), Salina & Jessica Anderson (Chad), Wichita; brothers, Bob Sterling (Sandy), Concordia & Jason Sterling (Shannon), Riley; sister, Rosalie Coash (Steve), Weeping Water, NE & 19 grandchildren.

Kale was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, David and Steve Sterling.

Friends may sign the register book from 1-8 PM, Monday, April 13, 2015 with family greeting friends from 6-7 PM at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Concordia Wesleyan Church with Rev. David Redmond & Pastor Bob Burns officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia following services.
