Karen "Jo" St. Pierre was born on Oct. 26, 1947 in Concordia, KS to Louis and Gene Hiltgen Goering. She died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS at the age of 59. She attended District 1 country schools and graduated from Clyde High School. She married Walter St. Pierre on Nov. 8, 1969 in Clyde, KS. He survives the home. She was a homemaker and worked at the Clyde Veterinary Clinic, working in all facets of the clinic. She was a lifelong horse and dog lover and enthusiast. She was a 4-H leader for over 10 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyde, KS. She is survived by her husband Walter, of the home; daughter, Katie Sparks and husband Kenny of Clyde, KS; mother, Gene Hiltgen of Concordia, KS; Sister, Jan Cyphers and husband Bill; brother, Jim Goering and wife Barbara and two grandchildren, Christopher and Jonathon Sparks of Clyde, KS. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis. Mass of christian burial is scheduled for 10 am Wed., Jan. 24, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyde, KS. Visitation will be from 10 am until 5 pm Tues., Jan. 23, 20007 at Chaput Mortuary in Clyde and after 6 pm at the church. A parish rosary will be said at 4 pm Tues. at Chaput Mortuary and a vigil service will be held at 7 pm Tues. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Memorials are designated to the Clyde Ambulance Fund.
