Kathy A. Drury, age 68, of Concordia, KS, passed away on Thurs., September 6, 2018 at her home in Concordia, KS.  She was born on July 4, 1950 in Concordia, KS to Rex E. & Dorothy M. (Largent) Strait, Sr.

She graduated from Concordia High School.  She worked at the Nazareth Convent and several area nursing homes before going to work for Wal-Mart when they opened in Concordia where she worked for them for nearly 30 years.  She married Jere Drury on Jan. 17, 1982 in Concordia and he preceded her on Nov. 20, 1999.  She belonged to the American Legion Ladies Aux. Post #76.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Strait (Cynthia), Concordia & Daren Drury, St. Petersburg, FL; daughter, Laurie Strait-Kilian, Concordia; brothers, Dennis Strait (Susan), Olathe, Michael Strait (LaDonna), Dickinson, TX, Robert Strait (Geralyn), Emporia, William Strait (Carol), Jamestown & Bruce Strait (Bonnie), Jamestown; sisters, Carolyn Altepeter (Alan), Brazil, IN & Heidi Boyer (Michael), Concordia; grandchildren, David, Caleb, Davin & Genna Strait & Kiara & Austin Kilian & sister in law, Charlotte Strait, Concordia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jere; her parents and 2 brothers, Rex Strait, Jr & Terry Strait, Sr.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia with Pastor Bob Burns officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.  Visitation will be Monday, September 10, 2018 from 1-8 pm with family greeting friends from 6-7 pm all at the funeral home.  The family suggests memorials to OCCK, Inc. in care of the funeral home.  For online condolences, please visit www.chaputbuoy.com.
