Lana S. Michaud, age 73, of Concordia, KS, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS. She was born on September 29, 1949 in Concordia, Kansas to Abner William and Helen Maxine (Woodworth) Monty.

Lana graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School, Concordia, KS in 1967. She attended Brown Mackie in Salina. She worked for the social security office in Topeka after her schooling in Salina. She later worked as a billing clerk for the Cloud County Health Center, Concordia until she retired in 2014. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Lana married Duane Michaud on April 28, 1972 in Concordia, KS.

Survivors include her husband, Duane, Concordia; son, Rodney Michaud (Janet), Concordia; daughter, Amanda Michaud (fiancé Tony Burden), Wichita; brother, Paul Monty (Gayle), Washington; grandchildren, Brendan Michaud and Adrianna Romo (Zak); great granddaughter, Alora Ray Romo & several nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents & a sister, Loleda Monty.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2022 with a rosary service at 5:30 pm and the family will receive friends after the rosary all at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. David Metz officiating. Inurnment will follow in the St. Concordia Cemetery.
