Larry Lanoue, Sr. was born on Dec. 20, 1948 in Concordia, KS to Howard & Jackie (McCann) Lanoue. He passed from this life on Thursday, April 22, 2010 in Vaughn, New Mexico at the age of 61. Larry attended school in Concordia. He was a commercial truck driver most of his life. He is survived by his sons; Jay Lanoue, Concordia, KS & Larry Lanoue, Jr., Concordia, KS; daughter: Shanna Lanoue, Atlanta, GA; brother: Gary Lanoue & wife Marcia, Salina, KS; & several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents & sister, Sharon Henderson. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, KS with Pastor Bob Burns officiating. The body was cremated and friends may sign the register book from 9 AM to 5 PM , Friday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the memorial services at the Concordia American Legion. Private burial will occur at a later date at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Brown Grand Theater or the Concordia D.A.R.E. program in care of the funeral home.
