LeRoy William Snavely was born on March 23, 1928 to William and Viola (Vignery) Snavely in the country near Aurora, Kansas.  He passed from this life on April 19, 2007 at Sunset Home in Concordia, Kansas at the age of 79.  H e graduated from Concordia High School. He married Vivian M. Trost on May 5, 1948 in Huscher, KS. She survives the home. He was a lifetime area resident and farmer in Cloud County. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Concordia. He was an avid K-State sports fan and sponsor of K-State Athletics.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vivian of Concordia; daughters Janet Easter and Hus. Ted of Mt. Hope, Kansas, JoAnn Williamson of Hutchinson, Kansas and Judy Jernigan and Hus. Gene of Carbondale, Kansas; a sister Imogene Trost of Concordia, Kansas; a brother Armand Snavely and Wife Jane of Concordia, Kansas; grandchildren Travis Easter of Colwich, Kansas, Torrey Easter and wife Kesa of Bel-Aire, Kansas and Tanya Duncan and Hus. Jayson of Topeka, Kansas; and a great grandchild Tyler Duncan of Topeka, Kansas.  Services will be held Trinity United Methodist Church, Concordia, Kansas on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gay Robertson officiating.  Visitation will be from 2 to 9 PM, Sunday, April 22, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home where the family will be greeting friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday.  Burial will be in the Nelson Cemetery in Huscher, Kansas.  The family suggests memorials to Trinity United Methodist Church, Sunset Home or the National Parkinson Foundation.
