Lindy M. Gram, age 95, died, Sat., March 30, 2013 at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde, KS. She was born on Feb. 1, 1918 to Leo & Catherine (Younker) Dellva. Lindy attended Hays Catholic High School and later graduated from Clyde High School. She married Harley D. Gram on Nov. 11, 1939. Lindy was a farm wife/homemaker and a waitress at Sandy's/Deena's Café in Clyde. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, CDA, Clyde Historical Society and the 9 High Bridge Club. She is survived by her son, Mark Gram & wife Theresa, Clyde; grandson, Rodney Gram & Laura Wasinger, Manhattan; great grandson, Evan Wasinger, Manhattan; sisters, Mary Anne Casey, Denver, CO, Clare Jann, Florence, SC & Pauline Riedel, Wakeeney, KS & several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley on July 22, 2003, her parents, 5 brothers & 3 sisters. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am, Thurs., April 4, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Clyde. A Parish Rosary will be at 4 pm, Wed. at Chaput Mortuary. Vigil services will be at 7 pm, Wed. at the church. Visitation will be from 12-5 pm at the mortuary & after 6 pm at the church with family greeting friends until the vigil. The family suggests memorials to the Clyde Beautification Project or Park Villa Nursing Home or the church.
