Obituary
Lois June Haskins, 83, of Formoso, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina. She was born in Formoso on June 1, 1927, to Roy and Etta (Finn) Young. June graduated from Formoso High School. She married Eugene Haskins on May 2, 1947, in Belleville and to this union, 4 children were born.
June is survived by 4 children, Robert and Ronda Haskins of Broomfield, CO, Connie and Steve Butts of Jewell, Charlotte and Calvin Seybold of Republic, James and Shelly Haskins of Formoso; 9 grandchildren, Alison Haskins, Adam Butts, Laura Butts, Christian Seybold, Paul Seybold, Jillian Couture, Courtney Bobby, Corey Haskins, Kyle Haskins; 4 great-grandchildren, Addisyn Couture, Sydney Seybold, Jacob Bobby, Emma Bobby; a sister, Mildred Gertson of Odessa, TX; and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Mabel Sweet and Georgie Hester.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia with Pastor Dan Dempsey officiating. Interment will be in the Balch Cemetery at Formoso. Closed-casket visitation will be from 1 – 9 PM Monday, May 23, 2011, and 9 AM until the time of service Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials may be left to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center in Salina with the funeral home in charge.
