Lorene O. Tremblay, age 89, died Sun., May 26, 2013 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia. She was born on Nov. 28, 1923 in rural Aurora, KS to Phillip & Blanche (Lemoine) Cote.

Lorene attended country schools in Aurora. She married Melvin F. Tremblay on Sept. 30, 1947 in Concordia. He preceded her on June 23, 2004. Lorene worked in the butter department at Fairmont Foods prior to her son's birth when she then stayed at home and was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

Lorene is survived by her son, Kenneth; sisters, Dorothy Tremblay & Lorette Rogers all of Concordia; special family, Patricia & Ryan Landry & many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; her parents; 7 brothers & 3 sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Fri., May 31, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Rev. Msgr. Barry Brinkman officiating. Burial will follow the services at St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia. Visitation will be from 9 am to 9 pm with a Vigil service at 6:30 pm, Thurs., May 30, 2013 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
