Luella M. Copple was born on June 6, 1930 in Cloud County, Kansas to Gustave and Mae Underwood Loeffler.  She passed from this life on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS at the age of 78. S he attended country schools. She married Averill W. Copple on June 5, 1948 at Clyde, KS. She was a homemaker and then later worked as a clerk at Archie's Grocery, Boogaart's #2 and then Swaford Pharmacy. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a former Ladies of the Moose, VFW & American Legion Auxiliary member. Her family was her life's work and interest.  She is survived by her h usband: Averill Copple, Concordia, KS; her daughters: Mae Marie Sanders & husband Roy and Shirley Gropp & husband Bill, Concordia, KS both of Concordia, KS; a son: Richard Copple & wife Angela, Hollis, KS; brothers: Dale Loeffler & wife Rosemary, Aurora, KS and Richard Loeffler & wife Regina, Concordia, KS; sisters: Bernie Tinkler & husband Floyd, Linn, KS and Bertha Mae Coombs & husband Harold, Petaluma, CA; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her  p arents; brothers - Harold, Dewain & Jr. Loeffler and a great grandson-Kohl Gropp.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. John States officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM with the family greeting friends from 7-8 PM, Wed., Sept. 17, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS.  The family suggests memorials to the SIDS Network or Concordia Senior Citizen's Center.
