Mabel Irene Shrader was born August 18, 1915 in Rural Jewell, Kansas to Alfred William and Helen Iverson Peterson.  She passed from this life on August 6, 2007 at Mitchell County Hospital at the age of 91.  She attended District 11 country school.  She married Harold G. Shrader on November 10, 1937 at Jamestown, Kansas.  He preceded her in death on March 16, 1991.  She was a homemaker.  She is survived by two daughters Emma Budreau of Jamestown, and Harriet Brown and Husband Jeri of Concordia; a son Terry Shrader of Newcastle, Wyoming; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, son- Larry Thomas in 1958, a brother- Bennie J. Peterson, and parents.  Funeral services will be at 10:00AM Thursday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean R. Frazier.  Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM Wednesday, with family receiving friends from 7PM to 9PM Wednesday.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS.  Memorials may be made to the Spinal Muscular Atrophy Foundation, 119 West 72nd St. #187 New York, NY 10023 or American Diabetes Association in Mabel's Memory.
