Marceline Pauline Kegle was born on January 9, 1915 to Edward and Rosa Racette Ouellette in rural Clyde, Kansas. She passed from this life on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, Kansas at the age of 92. S he grew up in the Clyde area and was a lifetime resident. She married Aldemar L. Kegle on Nov. 23, 1936 at St. Joseph, Kansas. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 2001. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph, KS and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Clyde, KS. She was a member of the Altar Society in both parishes. She was an avid bingo player. The last 2 years she was a resident at Mt. Joseph Senior Community in Concordia. She is survived by her sons, Edward Kegle and wife Emma Rose, Clyde, Kansas and Bill Kegle and wife Pat, Gustine, California; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aldemar; a daughter, Carolyn Wagoner; sons, Isadore and Duane Kegle; 8 brothers and 6 sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, Kansas with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Burial will follow the services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Clyde, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 5 PM Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Chaput Mortuary and then after 6 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde. A Parish Rosary will be said at 4 PM at Chaput Mortuary and Vigil services will be held at 7 PM all on Thursday, August 9, 2007. The family suggests memorials to the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Fund or the Clyde Ambulance Fund.
