Marcelline Bonebrake, 93 years of age, of Concordia, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Mount Joseph Senior Village in Concordia. She was born January 25, 1920 in Miltonvale to Alphonse and Rosanna (Chaput) Hebert. She married Sam Bonebrake on November 28, 1939 at Aurora . He preceded her in death on March 16, 1983. She married Fred Fielder on August 7, 1993. He died on November 19, 2009. She worked in the Concordia school system for many years.

Marcelline is survived by her children, Kale (Juanita) Bonebrake of Emporia, Lyle (Theresa) Bonebrake of Concordia, Joyce (Ken) McClanahan of Clyde, Earl (Brenda) Bonebrake of Beloit, Connie Bonebrake of Concordia; her loving dog Mali; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Maxine Robb of Lancaster, California, Darlene Beighton of Desert Hot Springs, California; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Sam Bonebrake and Fred Fielder; and 5 brothers, Melvin, Armile, Gerald, Leland & Larry Hebert.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia with Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Interment will be in the St. Concordia Cemetery in Concordia. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM Friday, October 18, 2013 with a Rosary at 5 PM and a Vigil Service at 5:30 PM at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church or Meadowlark Hospice in care of the funeral home. Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia is in charge of arrangements.
