Margaret "Peggy" Larsen, age
99, died Sat., Feb. 8, 2014 at Marquis Place, Concordia, KS.
She was born on Oct. 20, 1914 in the Town of
Eaton, WI to Jeremiah & Anna (Conrad) Coleman.
Peggy worked as a laboratory
technician for 29 years for Fairmont Foods in Green Bay, WI before she married
Lloyd C. Larsen on Nov. 23, 1967 in Green Bay, WI.
He preceded her on Feb. 22, 1976.
Peggy was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual
Help Catholic Church, the Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of America & Ladies
Literary Club.
She was a former member
of the Concordia Garden Club, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary, Triple S, Senior
Citizens, Elderberries of The Senior Citizens & AARP.
She is survived by her
brothers, James Coleman & fiancé Beverly, DePere, WI, Edwin Coleman &
wife Virginia, Westminster, CA & Robert Coleman & wife LaVerne,
Schofield, WI; sister in law, Virginia Coleman, Green Bay, WI & 32 nieces & nephews,
& several great nieces & nephews & great great nieces &
nephews.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Lloyd; her parents; brothers, Norbert, Jeremiah, Hugh, Terrance,
John & David Coleman & sisters, Mary Lawler, Ann Babonis & Lucille
Coleman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Wed., Feb. 12, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am to 9 pm with an Altar Society Rosary at 5 pm and a Vigil service following the Rosary all on Tues., Feb. 11, 2014 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Sisters of St. Joseph in care of the funeral home.
