Marie V. Nobert was born Aug. 10, 1926 to Armel P. & Susie Berger Nobert, Sr. in Ames, Kansas. She died on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007 at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde, KS. She attended District 1 grade school and graduated from Clyde High School. She attended the University of Colorado and received a degree in public health. She was a registered nurse in Wichita, KS for 40+ years where she was the Director for the Sedgwick County Public Health Dept. and a surgical nurse at St. Francis Hospital. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary member in Clyde, KS. She is survived by her sisters; Geraldine "Gerri" Holscher & Hus. Floyd of Salina, KS, Teresa Feight & Hus. Gene of Clyde, KS; Brothers; Damian Nobert & wife Fedora of Concordia, KS, James Nobert & wife Margaret of Clyde, KS, Larry Nobert & wife Linda of Concordia, KS & several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters-Helen Morgan & Bernadette Anderson; 2 Brothers-Dick Nobert & Armel P. Nobert, Jr. & 2 infant brothers-Joe & Frank Nobert. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11 AM, Wed., Feb. 28, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyde, KS with Rev. LeRoy Metro officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Clyde, KS. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 4:30 PM Tues., Feb. 27, 2007 at Chaput Mortuary and after 5:15 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church all in Clyde, KS. A Parish rosary will be said at 4 PM Tues. Feb. 27, 2007 at Chaput Mortuary and Vigil services will be held at 6 PM Tues., Feb. 27, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to either the Clyde Ambulance Fund or Mount Calvary Cemetery Fund.
