Obituary
Mary Ann Rowson, age 77, died on Sat., April 9, 2016 at Mt. Joseph Senior Village in Concordia, Kansas. She was born April 4, 1939 in Formoso, Kansas to Chester A. and Emma (Stouffer) Mapel.
She attended Jewell School systems growing up. She received her High School Diploma from Sacred Heart High School in 1976. Mary Ann attended Kansas Wesleyan University for 1 year.
Mary Ann worked as a Nurse's aide, Cook in Nursing Homes and was in Sales. She was 1

Lieutenant in the Kansas Civil Air Patrol, Salina, Kansas.
She was a member of St. Mary Queen of the Universe, Salina, Kansas. Mary Ann enjoyed quilting, sewing and most of all spending time with her family.
On September 16, 1957 she married Bernard Baltazor in Concordia, Kansas. He preceded her in death May 20, 2002. She then married Mervin LeRoy Rowson, August 30, 2003 in Salina, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband Mervin LeRoy Rowson, Concordia; 5 children, Richard Baltazor (Marlene), Bettendorf, IA.; Rex Baltazor (Deborah), Wamego, KS.; Gerald Baltazor (Cathy), Colorado Springs, CO.; Roberta Cullip (Steve), Moore, OK.; Neil Baltazor (Maria), Harrah, OK.; 2 step-daughters, Martha Rowson and Karen Sneary, Lincoln, KS.; 3 brothers, Robert Mapel (Patricia), St. Paul, MN.; William Roberts (LeAnn), Abilene, KS.; Marion Roberts, Michigan; Carolyn Fair, Salina, KS.; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1

husband, Bernard Baltazor, step-father, William Roberts.
The family selected cremation and there will be no visitation.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am, Sat., April 16, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Rev. Brian Lager officiating. A private inurnment at St. Concordia Cemetery will immediately follow. A Rosary service will be held at 6pm Fri., April 15, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia.
