Mary L. Bessette, 69 years of age, of Ames , passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012. She was born in Concordia on February 7, 1943 to John F. and Angeline M. (Feasel) Blochlinger.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Audrey Kimmel of Hawaii ; son, Tony Bessette of Salina ; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Joan Reed; and a brother, Francis Blochlinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emery Bessette; daughter, Kelly Mildfeldt; and 2 grandsons, Eddie and Eric Mildfeldt.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date with inurnment being in the St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery in Concordia. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of the funeral home.
