Obituary

Mary L. Charbonneau was born on May 21, 1939 in Concordia, KS to John L. & Wilma G. (Hunt) Vint. She passed from this life on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia at the age of 71. Mary graduated from Concordia High School in 1957. She married Marshall H. Charbonneau on Feb. 7, 1959 in Concordia, KS. Mary worked in the food service departments at the USD 333 and the Nazareth Motherhouse Convent until retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She is survived by her husband: Marshall Charbonneau, Concordia, KS; daughters: Marcia Mick & husband Randy, Concordia, KS, Marian Condray & husband Kent, Clifton, KS, Michelle Guevara, Concordia, KS & Melanie Germann & husband Greg, Clifton, KS; brother: John Vint, Alexander, AR; aunt: Virginia Feerer, Hutchinson, KS; brothers in law: Adolph Charbonneau & wife Beth, Concordia, KS, Vincent Charbonneau & wife Edna, Concordia, KS, Irvin Charbonneau & wife Nola, Concordia, KS,  Bill Charbonneau & wife Delores, Beloit, KS & Gene Charbonneau & wife Virginia, Concordia, KS; sisters in law: Louise Summers, Abilene,  KS & Joan Pentico & Derry Pentico, Concordia, KS; & grandchildren: Amy Mick, Jacob & Catherine Germann, Bidal & Stafen Guevara & Sarah, Laura & Andrea Condray. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister in law Virginia A. Charbonneau & brother in law Gary Summers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Wed., May 18, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM with an Altar Society Rosary at 5 PM and Vigil service at 6:30 PM, all Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia. The family suggests memorials to the Saline County Dialysis in care of the funeral home.
